Last Call: Help Us Make Business Accessible for Everyone

If you’ve been following along this month, you’ll know that Inkie isn’t just another marketing platform, it’s a project rooted in lived experience and a mission to make business building more inclusive, accessible and genuinely supportive for all. As we come to the close of our Innovation UK grant recruitment period, this is one last open invitation: if you’ve ever wished business tools made sense to you, or felt left out by tech that wasn’t built with your life in mind, your voice is the one we want to hear next.

Why This Project Matters (and Why You Matter to It)

Over the past month, I’ve talked a lot about my reasons for building Inkie. Like so many small business owners and creative founders, I know what it’s like to sit on the outside of the business world, too neurodiverse, too overwhelmed, not “techy” enough, or just tired of software that only serves the same old crowd. If that’s familiar, you already understand the heart of this project.

That’s why, in partnership with Joyfully Different, a community and consultancy for neurodivergent entrepreneurs, we’re not just ticking a funding box. We’re taking the chance to shape the future of business tools with people who know what it’s like to be excluded, overwhelmed, or simply different. If you’ve got a story to share, or you want to make tools better for everyone who comes after you, this is the best moment to jump in.

What Does Testing with Inkie Involve?

Testing isn’t about being a tech expert or having years of business experience. In fact, that’s the whole point. We’re looking for a truly diverse group of people, neurodivergent founders, people with low writing confidence, those who fumble with technology, creative brains, and anyone who’s just never found a platform that felt friendly or made for them. Your perspective is what will make a real impact.

If you’re chosen as a tester:

  • You’ll get early access to Inkie’s new voice-led, chat-based and human-supported features.

  • You’ll help decide what works and what needs changing. Your honest feedback directly shapes our build, no more design by committee, no more guessing what people “might” need.

  • You’ll get a thank you, it’s not just your time for free. Testers are being recognised for their contributions, because your experience is invaluable.

  • You’ll make a difference: this is about real, lasting impact, not marketing gold stars. What you share could change business for every founder who thinks a little differently.

All you need to do is share feedback on the Inkie platform, honestly and in your own words. There are no “right answers” and no special skills required, just a willingness to speak up about what works (and what doesn’t) for you.

Who Can Apply? (Hint: It Could Be You)

Our tester group is open to anyone whose experience has been overlooked or under-valued by traditional business tools. Whether you identify as neurodivergent, struggle with confidence or literacy, prefer chatting over typing, or just want to help make something genuinely inclusive, please don’t count yourself out. Diversity in age, background, business stage, and abilities will make this project as useful (and usable) as possible.

We are especially keen to hear from:

  • Neurodivergent entrepreneurs and creators

  • Those with lived experience of exclusion

  • People who often find tech or “admin” tasks daunting

  • Anyone with unique perspectives or creative ways of thinking

Your lived experience and creativity are a strength, not a barrier. We want testers who see things differently, because those are the voices that transform tools into lifelines.

How to Apply (It’s Quick & Easy)

If you want to join us, simply fill in the application form here. The link is also in our Instagram bio. Just a few questions, no complicated paperwork, if you can share your thoughts, you can apply.

Why Now? Why You?

This is your last chance to join the Innovation UK project as an early tester and help shape the next generation of accessible, genuinely human business tools. If you’ve ever been left out by marketing tech, felt “not enough” for traditional business spaces, or wanted to build something better for others, you are exactly who we need.

As a thank you, testers will receive early access, real input into the build, and recognition for their time. Most importantly, you’ll have the satisfaction of making business a more inclusive place for every founder who comes after you.

Let’s Do This, Together

Business should be for everyone, not just the few who “fit.” If you agree, and you want to see a platform built by and for real people, jump in now. Fill out the tester application form, share your story, and let’s create something that changes small business for good.

It only takes a few minutes, but the difference you can make is massive. Here’s that link again: https://forms.gle/Mq1R8SEQ8JacQMVt8.

Thank you, for reading, for caring, and for being the difference our business world needs.

Our thanks to Joyfully Different for championing lived experience and supporting this project from the start. Together, let’s make business accessible for everyone.
